O CANTEIRO RECEBE MOSTRA COLETIVA EM CONSTRUÇÃO JÁ É RUÍNA
Temas como transitoriedade e vulnerabilidade unem trabalhos em diferentes suportes
Em construção já é ruína, exposição coletiva de arte contemporânea, que acontece entre 4 e 11 de novembro no Canteiro, em São Paulo, traz a ruína não como resultado do declínio, mas como forma de existência que emerge desse processo, coexistindo e interagindo com ele.
A exposição carrega a vulnerabilidade de ser e estar no mundo e marca o encerramento da jornada acadêmica des alunes da pós-graduação em Práticas Artísticas Contemporâneas da Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado. Em intensa convivência, esses artistes puderam refletir sobre o próprio trabalho e o trabalho de outre, discutir intersecções, inspirar novas abordagens. Destaca-se a autonomia des artistes: protagonistes de todo o processo, atuaram desde a concepção até a montagem, aproveitando ao máximo a troca e colaboração que permeou seu percurso acadêmico, celebrando a diversidade de linguagens e de perspectivas artísticas, além da força de criação em conjunto.
Com projeto expositivo desenvolvido sob orientação de Andrea Souza, a curadoria da exposição é encabeçada por Nina Tomé, com estreita colaboração des demais membres do grupo. Articulando a variedade de linguagens e suportes da arte contemporânea, a galeria é preenchida com instalações, intervenções e apropriações, diferentes aproximações da arte têxtil e diversas possibilidades para a fotografia. Cada artiste traz uma perspectiva única para o tema, ao mesmo passo que mantém rico diálogo entre seus pares, desafiando noções tradicionais de estabilidade e permanência.

CANTEIRO HOSTS COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION "UNDER CONSTRUCTION IS ALREADY RUIN"
Themes such as transience and vulnerability unite works across different media
"Under Construction Is Already Ruin", a collective contemporary art exhibition taking place from November 4 to 11 at Canteiro, in São Paulo, presents ruin not as the result of decline but as a form of existence that emerges from this process, coexisting and interacting with it.
The exhibition embodies the vulnerability of being and existing in the world and marks the conclusion of the academic journey of students from the Postgraduate Program in Contemporary Artistic Practices at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado. Throughout an intense period of collaboration, these artists had the opportunity to reflect on their own work and that of others, discuss intersections, and inspire new approaches.
A key aspect of the exhibition is the autonomy of the artists: as protagonists of the entire process, they were involved from conception to installation, maximizing the exchange and collaboration that shaped their academic experience. The exhibition celebrates the diversity of artistic languages and perspectives, as well as the power of collective creation.
With an exhibition design developed under the guidance of Andrea Souza, the curatorship is led by Nina Tomé in close collaboration with other group members. Bringing together a variety of contemporary art forms and media, the gallery space is filled with installations, interventions, and appropriations, various approaches to textile art, and multiple possibilities within photography. Each artist brings a unique perspective to the theme while maintaining a rich dialogue with their peers, challenging traditional notions of stability and permanence.
